Auturity (awe-TCHURE-ih-tee), is a non-profit organization established in 2023 with concentrated efforts geared to fill a gap in services for autistic adults as they transition into adulthood and ultimately a world not yet equipped to consider or meet their needs. The name Auturity blends the words “Autism” and “maturity”, and creates a word that promotes both careful consideration and stable growth. Auturity utilizes careful consideration to meet the needs of autistic adults in order to advance their growth in today’s society - helping this growing population meet the challenges of an evolving world. The tagline “Supporting the Awesome in Adult Autism” embodies the work of the organization and essentially allows for the utilization of a strengths-based approach when facilitating the transition into adulthood, assisting them with critical resources that can afford opportunities to become the best version of themselves.

Auturity is distinct in that it connects autistic adults and their supportive community (parents, caregivers, families) to the appropriate resource(s), such as a primary care doctor, attorney, employer, or education liaison in a sensory-focused manner that demonstrates the strength in each autistic adult.
